Wrapping up the Tasuki Arc this week with some RL shenanigans, and then it's on to the adorable Chichiri finales next week! We'll discuss future translation plans after that. For now, though, let's just enjoy bandits in Tokyo.

That was the night I decided to go back to my own world.
Tasuki and I left the city together.
Tasuki: ...Why’d ya bring me out here?
You: Well... There’s something I needed to talk to you about.
Tasuki: What’s up?
You: Mm...
You: …You... probably know how much I like you...
Tasuki: Y...yeah. Guess I do.
You: ...Then if at all possible...
You: ...If it’s okay with you...
I took a little breath.
You: ...Could you come back to my world with me?
Tasuki: Wh-what?
You: ...I don’t mean to say that it’s physically impossible...
You: You can, but...
Tasuki: ...Sorry. There’s no way… I could be ready fer somethin’ like that.
Tasuki: I didn’t know... ya thought-a me like that.
You: ...Tasuki?
Tasuki: ...I’m sorry, I really am! Wait fer me fer a little.
With that, he moved out ahead of me—

Misaki-chan and I were getting ready to leave, but Tasuki was still nowhere to be found.

I’m sure he was just disgusted with me because of how selfish I’d been.
I knew this might happen. I’d basically told him to throw away his own world for me.
You: Having you guys here to see me off is plenty.
You: I just hope Tasuki’s doing well, wherever he is.
Misaki: ...Should we wait a little longer?
You: No. It’s fine, really.
I still have plenty of good memories with Tasuki. That’s enough for me.
You: ...Kai... ji...
My lip was trembling a little.
Memories with Tasuki came to mind one by one and then disappeared.
Leaving like this... really did make me miss him.

Tasuki: Dumbass! I told ya ta wait, didn’t I!?
You: ...Then where...?
Tasuki: I just had ta tell the boys on Reikaku goodbye, is all.
You: What…? So when you said you weren’t ready…?

Tasuki: ‘Course it was!!
Tasuki: As a matter-a principle, I take everythin’ I want!
Tasuki: So if there’s somethin’ I want in another world, then I’m sure as hell goin’ there, too!
Chichiri: ...You’ll be reincarnated in another world, Tasuki.
Chichiri: I have a feeling the two of you won’t stay together when you cross over no da.
Tasuki: Eh!? Ya think!?
Tasuki: ...W-well fine! Then I’ll find you! Count on it!
You: ...Geez...
You: That’s so like you... Tasuki...
I was laughing and crying all at once.
You: You’re really okay with this?
Tasuki: ‘Course I am!
You: ...Thank you, Tasuki.
You: …We’re off!
Tamahome: Good luck, kid.
Tamahome: Look after Tasuki for us.
Tasuki: Hey, now! It’s the other way around!
You: Will do!
Tasuki: Don’t you jump on board!
You: Kai jin!!
You: Send Misaki-chan and I back to our own world!
And—one more thing.
You: Kai jin!
I cried out joyfully from my heart.
You: Let Tasuki and I be together in the real world!

Tasuki: See, like that one! The teacup ride! That looks nice!
You: Ooh, good call... I love a good thrill ride.

You: Yeah! Today I’m gonna spin it even more than I usually do!

You: C’mon, Tasuki!
Tasuki: W-wait, wait, wait, wait!!

Tasuki: AHHH...!!
The amusement part where Tasuki took me was a lot of fun. After that, we rode a bunch of roller coasters.
Looking up, I thought it was the perfect day for a date.
I had a great time until Tasuki, exhausted, dragged me away.
